Delete Your Account
murmo lets you request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Request deletion by email
To delete your murmo account and associated data, send a message from the email address associated with your account to:
support@murmo.xyzUse the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email, phone number, or wallet address linked to your account. We will verify ownership and process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Profile information (name, username, avatar, bio)
- Email address, phone number, and authentication identifiers
- Group memberships, posts, comments, and reactions
- In-app messages and chat history
- Trade proposals, prediction proposals, and fund requests you created
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Analytics and diagnostic event data tied to your account
What is retained, and why
- On-chain data. Transactions recorded on public blockchains (such as Solana or Ethereum) are immutable and cannot be deleted by murmo or any third party.
- Transaction records. Records of on-ramp, off-ramp, and transfer activity may be retained for up to seven (7) years to comply with applicable financial, tax, and anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations.
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics. Data that has been de-identified and cannot be linked back to you may be retained for product analytics.
Processing time
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verification. You will receive an email confirmation once your account and eligible data have been removed. If you need assistance, contact support@murmo.xyz.
